This hotel is haunted by the ghost of George Leger, who died here in 1879. Many guests report that he wanders through the corridors of the hotel. A woman crying is often heard or a young girl is seen by the fireplace.

"The ghost of George Leger, who was murdered in the hotel in 1879 and died in room number 7, is repeatedly seen in the drawing room and in one of the hotel's thirteen rooms. Other ghosts reported in the hotel include: The "Lady in White" in Room 2 and  "The Little Boy" in Room 3."
