Leno LaBianca

* 6. August 1925 in Los Angeles

† 10. August 1969 ebenda

was the owner of a chain of supermarkets on the west coast of California. Leno was murdered with his wife Rosemary on August 10, 1969 by members of the Charles Manson Family. On the morning of August 10, Rosemary LaBianca's 15-year-old son, Frank Struthers, found the murdered couple. Leno LaBianca lay stabbed multiple times, bound and gagged in the living room. The word WAR had been carved into the partially clothed man's abdomen. The corpse had been disfigured by the murderers: the murderers left a bread knife in the cut throat and a fork near the navel. Rosemary LaBianca was found dead in the bedroom, also bound and stabbed multiple times. In the kitchen, Leno LaBianca's blood had been smeared on the refrigerator Healter Skelter (instead of "Helter Skelter"). The killers also left the words "rise" and "pigs" in blood on the walls.
